Position Summary: The Service Advisor plays a critical role in the aftersales department, acting as the bridge between customers and the service team. Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Interaction:
    • Greet customers warmly and professionally upon arrival.
    • Listen to customer concerns regarding their vehicles and document all relevant details accurately.
    • Provide expert advice on maintenance and repair needs, ensuring customers understand the work required.
    • Offer solutions to customer concerns and ensure transparency in service recommendations.
  2. Service Coordination:
    • Communicate effectively with technicians and service teams to ensure customer requests are accurately relayed.
    • Schedule service appointments efficiently, balancing customer needs with workshop capacity.
    • Keep customers informed of their vehicle’s service progress and estimated completion times.
    • Ensure all necessary parts are available for scheduled repairs and maintenance.
  3. Technical & Administrative Responsibilities:
    • Prepare and present detailed cost estimates, obtaining customer approval before proceeding with work.
    • Maintain accurate service records, ensuring all repairs and maintenance are documented properly.
    • Conduct quality checks and vehicle inspections to ensure work has been completed to BMW’s standards.
    • Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any additional concerns.
  4. Customer Satisfaction & Brand Representation:
    • Provide an exceptional customer experience aligned with BMW’s premium service expectations.
    • Handle customer complaints professionally, escalating issues when necessary to ensure resolution.
    • Promote BMW service packages, extended warranties, and genuine parts to enhance the customer experience.
    • Uphold BMW Group’s values, maintaining a professional and polished appearance at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
    • 2+ years of experience in an automotive service advisory role, preferably with a premium or luxury brand.
  • Technical Skills & Knowledge:
    • Strong understanding of automotive service procedures, maintenance schedules, and repair processes.
    • Familiarity with BMW vehicles, technology, and service standards is a plus.
    • Proficiency in using automotive service software and customer management systems.
  • Soft Skills & Competencies:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting customer relationships.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple customer requests efficiently.
    • High level of professionalism and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Language & Other Requirements:
    • Proficiency in English (required); knowledge of Arabic is highly desirable.
    • Valid Saudi driver’s license.
    • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
