Job Title: Finance Insurance Controller
Key Responsibilities
Policy Management & Negotiation
- Analyze policy coverage, indemnity clauses, and wordings to optimize insurance strategy
- Negotiate cost-effective insurance policies with brokers and insurers
- Ensure all insurance documents align with ADNOC’s compliance standards
Claims Handling & Resolution
- Oversee all claim processes including investigation, adjustment, and resolution
- Coordinate with insurers, legal teams, and third-party adjusters
- Implement efficient claims workflows to reduce turnaround times
Risk Management
- Conduct detailed risk assessments across ADNOC’s operations
- Advise on insurance coverage for new and existing risks
- Monitor market changes and align policies accordingly
Financial Planning & Budgeting
- Prepare and manage annual insurance budgets
- Analyze insurance expenditures and identify optimization areas
- Report on premiums, claims, and financial KPIs
Training & Awareness
- Develop internal training programs for risk awareness
- Promote insurance culture across business units
Strategic Advisory
- Support M&A activities with insurance analysis
- Manage insurance for local and international subsidiaries
Stakeholder Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with insurers, brokers, and internal departments
- Ensure cross-functional coordination of insurance initiatives
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in insurance and risk management
- Strong skills in policy negotiation and contract analysis
- Experience managing insurance budgets and financial reports
- Proven ability to handle claims and mitigate corporate risk
- Deep understanding of insurance clauses, legal frameworks, and market trends
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
